Yes. Anyone is welcome, if you are worried about judgement or prejudice know that as a community we want everyone to know who Jesus is and have a relationship with him.

A welcoming church with great music and a diverse community committed to becoming more like Jesus.

What does that look like? Being welcomed on arrival, if you come a few minutes early it would be great for a few people to say hello and get to know you more. The service will begin with some modern worship (we sing together of how good God is and glorify his name). We will then have a sermon where we be challenged on how to live more like Christ in a loving manner.

Our Sunday evening service is a little more informal. The service is a fantastic way to round off the weekend and prepare for the week ahead.

The evening starts and finishes with worship, and during the service there’s a coffee break followed by a talk and response time.  As the church grows, space and parking at this venue are getting more and more limited, so it’s a good idea to arrive a few minutes early.

That’s completely understandable. It can be a big deal going to place, especially if you don’t know anyone. We have a few thoughts on how we can hopefully ease some nerves;

• Get in touch. If you have questions, are nervous about something or just want to say hello! We can engage in a format that suits you (call, WhatsApp, email). 
• Want to see what goes on? Feel free to watch some sermons to see what has happened during previous Sundays
• If you are anxious about COVID, feel free to wear a mask or take precautions as you would like – everyone has different comfort levels. We ask  that people not judge other peoples comfort levels and respect their boundaries. 

Since August 2018, Glendale Church has taken responsibility for the former Thatcham Free Church, including the building on Green Lane.
